I could eat her up!

Last night I told Lily I loved her and she looked up and me and said, "I lub you too mom." It melted my heart. She said it two more times today. It's my new favorite thing in the world. She is such a doll and I love her.

What they've been up to...

Photobucket
Mason had his Disney on parade play last night at Columbia high school. He was a little nervous, but ended up loving being on stage. He did a great job and we were very proud of him.

Photobucket
Bo got the "R" factor award at school today. The R stands for being Responsible, Reliable and Respectful. I'm sure glad he's at least like that at school!

Photobucket
Lily is just being her cute, bossy little self lately. She has discovered toast this past week and could eat it for every meal.

Photobucket
Lily also discovered the Little Mermaid this week. She's got a picture of Ariel and Flounder on her sippy cup. She noticed and pointed them out to me the other day, so I stuck the movie in the DVD player. She was a little scared of the Sea witch and the eels at 1st and would hide during the "scary parts", but now she loves it! Here's a picture of Lily and Mason watching it for the 1st time.

Bathtime

Lily really likes taking baths. The boys have never cared much for bathtime, but Lily always gets excited for it. She's always so happy when she's in there. It's nice for me too cause she trapped in there and can't get away from my camera for once.

Just a few of Lily

I was setting things up for Mason's shoot the other day when Lily came over, sat down in the chair and smiled up at me. It seems like whenever Lily is in the mood for me to take her picture, (which is rare) her hair isn't done and she's not dressed cute. Well, I ran into her room, grabbed a hat to cover up the mop on her head and started clicking away as fast as I could. After a minute or so she got up and toddled off so I didn't get much. I'll take what I can get from a kid her age though. She's always so busy!

Oh, when I was processing these I noticed a little dark spot on her lip. I almost cloned it out because I thought it was dirt or food or something. I tried scrubbing it off later that day and discovered it's the beginnings of a new mole. I think she'll have lots of moles like Mason does. They have their Pop to thank for those.

Mase

Mason's birthday was in November. I was feeling pretty crappy in November. So, Mase didn't really have to deal with the whole birthday photo shoot thing this year. However, I was feeling pretty good yesterday and I decided to make up for the lost shoot. He did pretty well. He didn't complain too much. I did have to remind him that it WAS my birthday after all. So, here's what we got:

Happy birthday to me!

I'm 32 years old today. The boys were so excited for me this morning. It's cute that they think it's still it's super fun to have a birthday after you're in your 30's. Mason got breakfast for himself and Bo so I could sleep in today. He's such a sweet boy.

Okay, on to pictures of me over the years. I can't believe I'm going to post a couple of these, but I am. Enjoy.

Here I am only a few days old.
Photobucket

Danielle is on the left and that's Steph on the right. I think I was about 1 here.

There we all are pretending to be pregnant. I'm thinking I was about 2 1/2 because mom was pregnant with Tara when I was that age. I've never thought Lily resembled me much, but wow, she looks just like me in this picture. Nutty.
Photobucket

Here I am with Tara. I was probably 3 here.
Photobucket

There's dad and I. I'm not sure what age I was, but it was before the sicko haircuts started, so maybe 4 years old. I'm still pretty cute, right? Just wait.
Photobucket

Okay, now this picture was taken in 1st grade by my teacher Mrs. Porter. It was the picture I glued to the back of the Valentines day heart card made of red tissue paper that I gave to my parents. I remember the day very distinctly. It wasn't even snowing outside that day, but I was still forced to have to wear those hideous blue moonboots to school. So, this is what I looked like when I went to school in the 1st grade. Yowza! Complete with mullet and a lavender sweatsuit with sleeves that are just a bit too short for my arms. Nice. I promise I will NEVER do anything even remotely like this to my girls. Ever.
Photobucket

Here I am, I think on my 7th birthday. Steph is to my right. I remember getting those roller skates. Good times. If you look really really closely at where the arrow is pointing, you'll see Michael Jackson's face pinned to my shirt. Oh how I loved that shirt and Michael Jackson too. Those were the days.........
Photobucket

Here I am with Noelle. I must have been about 9 here I'm thinking. My hair had mellowed out a little bit. I believe I was going for a Farrah Fawcett look. Minus the hair, I think Bo looks a lot like me here.

Oh Lily..........

Lately Lily has been getting into crayons, markers, chapstick.....whatever she can get her hands on and putting it on the walls and her lips. Then, when you catch her, she says, "Shhhhh" and puts her finger over her mouth. Just today I asked her to stop doing something naughty and she told me to Shhhh and then pointed to my belly and said, "Baby sleeping". She already knows how to change the subject and manipulate us to get herself out of trouble. Hmmm, what are we in for in the years to come?

Here's the face she recently started doing when she is bugged about something.

I just think this one is cute of her little face.

The other day, Ross yelled across the house to me to grab my camera and head to the boys' room. I found Mason on his bed reading to Lily. She's so lucky to have such great big brothers.

26 weeks

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I've already gained 18 lbs. Yikes. I'm a little worried about what I'll end up weighing by the time I have this little girl. It's all worth it though. And there are so many other aspects about pregnancy that I just love. I relish every little movement she makes and I love having her so close to me all the time. I get a little sad when I think about not having her in my belly anymore so I want the next 3 months to go by more slowly so I can enjoy it.

So, I wrangled Ross into taking some pictures of me yesterday. I'd like to take a few pictures every month to see how my belly changes. Ross is the poor soul who gets to help me with that. After about 5 minutes into our little shoot yesterday he started complaining about his eye going blurry from having to look through the eye piece. Really? I've been on a shoot that lasted for about 4 hours before. Cowboy up Ross!

Bo is 7!

Bo HATES when I take his picture. But I've pretty much left the kids alone for the past few months, so I didn't feel too bad making him pose for me for his 7 year shoot. He was pretty good for me....until the end. Oh boy can that kid complain.

It's hard to believe our little boy is 7 already. He's getting so big he doesn't look like a little kid anymore. I weighed and measured him a few days ago and he is 50 1/2 inches tall and weighs 54 lbs. I miss little toddler Bo. He's such a fun kid though and hard not to love. He comes up with the funniest things to say and he's still my best cuddler.

Here are some of Bo's superfavorites at seven:

Food: Crepes
Movie: Dumb & Dumber
Book: Cats that roar
Game: Nerts
Thing to do: Play with cousins
Subject in school: Recess (big surprise)
Sport: Football
Football team: BSU Broncos and Denver Broncos

Here are Bo's super LEAST favorites at seven:

Food: Boccoli
Thing to do: Chores
Football team: Idaho Vandals and the Packers

Basketball

The boys just ended their 1st ever basketball season. They had tons of fun and scored lots of baskets. I didn't take as many pictures as I should have, but here are a few.

Mason was on the 'Bucks' and was #7:

Bo's team didn't really have a name, but they were identified as the 'Forest green team'. They also didn't have numbers on their t-shirts. Kinda lame huh.

There he is on the far right.

And a post just doesn't feel complete without sharing at least one picture of Miss Lily. Here she is running around the gym and being hard to keep track of, just like she was every game.
