Super Silly Lily

Lily said she wanted me to take her pictures yesterday, much to my surprise. But by the time I whipped out my seamless paper and got my camera ready to go she no longer was in the mood. She just wanted to act silly and goof off. Oh, two year olds.......I still managed to get lots of keepers though. Love this girl!

Here she is acting like a dog. She's been asking for Cracklin' oat bran on a plate for breakfast lately. She likes to eat it like a dog, off the floor and without the use of her hands. Lovely. At least it's not the real dog food I caught her eating twice a couple weeks ago. When she's a dog, which is about half the day, she wants you to call her Abbey and not Lily. If you accidentally call her Lily, she'll correct you by saying, "No me's Leee, me's Abbey!"









I couldn't get her to look at me in these ones, but I still love em.

Fun in the sun!

It got up to 89 degrees today, if you can believe it. It feels so dang hot outside. Bo was "sick" today, so he spent the day home with Lily and I. He couldn't have chosen a better day to stay home sick from school. He convinced me that playing in water always makes him feel better when he doesn't feel good. Hmmm...



I love that Bo is twice the size of Lily's pool and he doesn't care.






They had lots of fun with their killer whale and dolphin squirt guns. It took Lil a while to figure out how to work it.






And there's the master jumper herself. Oh, does she love jumping.

I'm posting this a little late, so I'm actually 31 weeks. I've gained 24 lbs. so far and am really really hoping that starts slowing down a bit or I'll be huge in 9 weeks!

Easter weekend

We had a really nice Easter. It was filled with lots of family and good food and even more treats. We've got bags of leftover easter candy sitting on the counter calling my name right now.

Here are all the Farris grandkids just before the hunt.



Lily had already been to one egg hunt that morning, so she knew what she was doing.

Here they are at Kirk and Danielle's house dying Easter eggs. They'd been waiting weeks for that!












Lily always has to "beep" a belly button when she sees one. I'm sure Crew's belly button is irresitable since he's got an outy.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lily's feet. The shape of them is so cute and the little mole on her left foot is adorable. I could eat em up even though they are pretty stinky most of the time. She hates to wear socks, stubborn girl.










And I caught one of her lion roars on camera today. She loves 'The Lion King' at the moment and is always roaring around the house. She makes a pretty cute Simba I'd say.

Our new wheels.......

Well, not exactly new...but new to us anyways. We pretty much drove our old van into the ground and it came time to get something a little newer and a little nicer. It seems like we got a pretty good deal on it. But time will tell. You never really know what you're gettin when you buy a used car do ya?





Mason loves the new van. Bo on the other hand misses the old one and is super bugged that we don't have it anymore, (notice the annoyed face he's giving me here). He's such a funny kid. I'm pretty sure that in time, the DVD player will soften his feelings towards the new van just a little.

Just the 2 of us

I was going through the baby's babybook yesterday and figuring out what pictures I needed to print out for it. I need to put a somewhat current picture of Ross and I in there. So I looked through some of the pictures that Audrey took of us this past October. I must have missed this one because I never did edit it. So I went ahead and processed it so I could print it out and stick it in the baby book. Oh, what a difference 5 months and 22 pounds makes. At least Ross looks the same.
