Nan's new kittens

The other day, my mom was outside and kept hearing a little peeping noise coming from the wood pile. So she went to investigate and found a little kitten. She decided to keep the little guy. You can always use a good mouser. Later, she discovered a couple more kittens hidden inside one of her big trees in the back by the stream. There is a stray cat that has a habit of having babies in that tree. We found a litter of kittens in that same tree a couple of years ago that looked exactly like these ones. My sister, Stephanie adopted those ones. Anyways, my mom said she only wanted two. So, I was so tempted to take the 3rd one home, but I think Ross would have been a little upset. He's not crazy about cats. By the time we got to my mom's house tonight, she had already given the kitten to Nicole's bus driver. Kind of random, but it works. Ross was relieved. I just feel bad for the poor mama cat. She'll never know what happened to her babies.

As you can see, Lily was so curious about the kittens. She loves animals. They are still so tiny, they have to be fed with a medicine dropper. Aren't they the cutest?! Now, how could you not like cats?

They've got super sharp claws, kinda like needles. Bo found that out pretty quickly!

Mini Ross

Bo has been looking so old lately. He's grown so much this year. He's catching up to Mase quick. I took this picture of him the other day and just uploaded it to the computer tonight. I am amazed at how mature he looks and how much he looks like Ross in this picture. It's always been really hard for me to see either me or Ross in any of our kids. So, I thought it was cool when I could see Ross in Bo;s face when I first glanced at this picture.

Little guy?

I took Lily to the store the other day. I thought she looked so cute in one of the boys' old jerseys. She's always got crazy hair because if I try to put a clip in her hair, or put it up in pigtails, she's usually got it ripped out in 5 minutes. So, her hair didn't look super girly. Anyways, the checker kept referring to her as a boy. She called her little guy and little buddy. I was like, "seriously? umm.... does she think she's a boy?" I mean come on, look at that face. Does she look like a boy to you? I just thought it was funny.

Soccer

Another soccer season has come and gone. The boys weren't exactly loving soccer this year. So, we told them this would be their last year of it. They'll play football in the fall, which they are so excited about. Then baseball in the spring. It kind of makes me sad that they won't play soccer anymore. We've been going to their soccer games for so long, it feels like the end of an era. They just seem to be growing up so fast lately. They sure didn't stay little for very long.

You just wanna squeeze her!

Lily is so funny lately. 16 months is a fun age, but she definitely has her moments. In fact, she threw quite a tantrum the other night. It was adorable. It's hard for Ross & I not to laugh. She also is starting to hate prayers for some reason. So when we say, "time for prayer," she yells, "NO!" It always makes us laugh. It won't be cute for long though. She is just so tiny & cute right now, that she gets away with a lot.

My Mason

The boys are looking so handsome with their tan skin and blue eyes. I had to take a few of Mason today. I feel like since I had Lily, the boys hardly ever get their picture taken. Not that they mind. It just makes me feel bad.
