my Lily

I took this little one out last week for a few pictures. I had to bribe her with some little mermaid stickers. That sour look on her face didn't wipe off too easily though. I really can't blame her though. It was almost 100 degrees outside.

One of her favorite things lately. Uhhhh.....

the fair

Oh the Western Idaho fair has become a tradition in our family. I think I've been to the fair every year since I was a little kid, even when I didn't live in Idaho. So, our kids have come to expect us to take them every time the fair rolls into town and spend a million dollars on rides and food....and we do. The boys are old enough to ride the big rides and I gotta say, it makes me a tad nervous. Ummm, have you seen the people who put together and take down those rides? Scary. I really hope there's an inspector who makes sure they've been down correctly...but I doubt there is.

Anyways, Tara took the boys on the big rides and Ross & I took Lily on the kiddie rides. I didn't really want to see the boys tumble to their death or wait forever in long lines, so it worked out well. Since Lily HATED the rides at lagoon last year. (Click HERE for those pictures.) We weren't so sure she'd like the rides at the fair. As you can see by the huge grin on her face, she LOVED them!

Stella was content to hang out in her stroller. She's such a good girl.

My picture of Stella got the third place ribbon. Not super impressive, but at least I placed.

10 weeks

These last 10 weeks have just flown by. It makes me sad that our Stella is getting so big. But it's also fun getting to know her unique personality as she grows. She is just the sweetest baby ever! We love you Stella!!!

I caught a big smile just before she tumbled off the pillow & rolled onto her back. It's so hard to pose a 2 month old!

One of her "Ooooooo" faces.

And I'm pretty sure by the hand gesture she's giving me here, that she'd really appreciate the camera out of her face now.

nicole's wig

These pictures are supersick...I know. I just couldn't resist sharing. My sister Nicole lost all her hair several years ago. She usually wears a hat, but she does have a couple wigs just in case she ever feels like she wants to change up her look, I guess. We had the kids try them on a few days ago and wow...

Stella looked like one of those baby dolls with the weird long hair.
Photobucket

Lily wasn't a big fan of the wig. She did look kinda cute in it though.

Crew didn't look too sick.

Bo however, looked soooooo sick.
Photobucket

He would NOT make a pretty girl.

Faith actually looked cute, but then again, she IS a girl. That makes a difference.

I coaxed Mason into putting it on and I took a picture. But he asked me to not post it on the blog so I won't. It's a shame though because he looked so much like me as a little girl, it would be fun to share.

this summer...

I'm so sad that summer is almost over. The kids have had so much fun. Lily and Stella have loved having their brothers home to play with them, and I've loved their help! I am looking forward to fall though. Football season has started for the boys and it's always so much fun going to their games.

One of Mason's summer projects. However, there were 4 pieces missing courtesy of Bo and Lily. Sorry Mase.

Lily will finally go down the slide alone and she LOVES it!

Mason is pretty smitten with his baby sister. He'll miss her lots while he's at school.

stella's blessing day

Ross gave Stella her baby blessing last week. They both did a great job and Stella didn't cry a bit. I believe Mason and Bo both cried during their blessings and it made it hard to hear what was being said. Anyways, Stella looked like a little princess in her dress. I'm so glad it wasn't too tight. I was a little worried it would be at 2 months of age . Love you Stella.

Our 1st picture with the whole family.

She kept looking up and smiling at her Grammy. So sweet.

These were taken when she was 2 weeks old. I knew it would be tough to get a good one of her in her dress at 2 months.

These next two shots were taken after church in a dress that I knew if I didn't put on her that day, she'd get too big for. She's growing so fast!

8 weeks old

I had to give Amanda's macro lens back last week. So sad. I thought I'd better get a few more shots of Stella with it. I love that lens. It's jumped to the top of my list of wants. Maybe Santa will surprise me with it this Christmas. (that's a hint, by the way Ross)

Her eyelashes have come in recently. They're getting so long and curly. I just love em.
