her outdoor shoot

When I found out I was pregnant and due in June I was super excited to be able to do an outdoor newborn shoot. Well, when Stella was born the weather wasn't all that warm for the 1st couple weeks. Every morning I'd hope it would turn out to be really warm despite the weather forcast. But not until Stella's 17th day was it finally warm enough to take her outside for her long awaited outdoor shoot. I was nervous that she wouldn't sleep very well because she was getting out of the super sleepy newborn faze a little and she'd already slept quite a bit during the day. She suprised me as slept like a champ. Thank you Audrey and Alison for coming with me that night. I had lots of fun as usual!

And like the rest of our kids, once she's done...she's done. Poor little thing.

I'm getting close to finishing up Stella's newborn pictures. Here are a couple from day 16. You can really see her mullet in these shots.

the forgotten day

I somehow forgot to post this shot of Stella from her 13th day. I'm not sure how cause it's one of my very faves. I can't wait to do this setup again when she's sitting up.

I was so excited, I ripped open the box and immediately hung it in the girls' room.

I'm almost through with processing all of Stella's newborn shots. I've still got a couple more shoots to go through, but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel! I'm so glad I took so many of her first couple weeks, but man it's been a lot of work!

time sure flies!

Ross & I were married ten years ago today. It seems like just months have gone by since our wedding day. Ten whole years & four kids later I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Love you Ross.

little miss sunshine

Photobucket

I've been so busy with Stella that I haven't had the time and energy to taken many pictures of Lily lately. I am starting to miss photographing this little girl. She popped herself on over yesterday when I was taking Stella's 6 week pictures and I shot this little gem of her. She adds a lot of love to our family. Love you Lily!

lola

Tara got herself a new pup last week and named her Lola. It's funny because that's the name Lily picked out for the baby in her tummy that she's been pregnant with since we told her I was pregnant with Stella. Anyways, Lola's been a huge hit around here! It's hilarious to watch her chase the little kids around. They're a little bit afraid of her, but yet can't seem to get enough of her. She's adorable!

And here's Miss Lily with Kirk & Danielle's horse Kingston. That girl just loves horses!

she's so fun

We've all enjoyed having our sweet Stella here. Lily really loves holding her and giving her kisses. She usually calls her "Sella Sella". I have yet to get a really great shot of our two girls together but I've still got lots of cute ones.

This is one of our favorite things to do. She's still so tiny but we know how fast she'll grow so it makes it hard to ever want to put her down.

I love her all wrapped up with just her little head popping out.

on her 9th day...

My friend Amanda came over all the way from Mountain Home to help me out with Stella's pictures. It was so nice to have her here. She brought lots of fun new props to play with too.
